Sorry so many of you see that poem as 'scare tactics'. If I had read it some years ago, it could have saved me a lot of grief. Except for the baby and AIDS part, it could have been a mirror of my past. Now that I'm older and much wiser, and have returned to my beliefs, I can appreciate the poem as a way of warning young ones to seek a marriage partner carefully. It is a mistake that can have lifelong, damaging effects ... afin.

Do keep apace, Mrs Jones. Previously, I was addressing Mrs grongojj, so when I realized gringojj was pretending to be her, it was in fact deceptive of him. Get it???

I have a suspicion I am really addressing Mr. gringojj here, so will be brief. The society advises the members to use the internet cautiously. When I replied, I assumed I was addressing your wife, who is still studying with Jehovah's Witnesses. My advice was for her, thus, a Christian stance.
As for your questions, please feel free to ask any elder in your wife's congregation. If they refuse to answer, I guess it's because they feel you are apostate.
I do in fact wish your wife all the best and hope she makes a favourable decision ... afin

Mrs. grongojj,
Thanks for the reply. I guess because JWD is almost all exjws, you see me as one also. I am in fact one of Jehovah's Witnesses and just responded to someone who I felt needed support. Your study partner is likely doing what seems best but I just felt you need to know that it might not be the best time to make major decisions.
By being here it looks like you are leaning toward exjw thoughts. This is your right and you are the only one who can decide what is right for you. Just give yourself some time. Enough now to take care of yourself and the new baby on the way.
All the best in whatever you decide ... afin

gringojj ... you mentioned earlier that your wife will read all these posts so I will address her ...
Dear Mrs gringojj,
Hope you are feeling well in your late days of pregnancy. With two small children now, you will be a very busy lady in a month or so. This is a hard time to consider all the different options you have before you right now. Why not give youself a break and enjoy this precious time without trying to make any major decisions. The lady studying with you should be made aware that it isn't a good time for you to consentrate on much more than your own personal needs just now.
When the time is right for you ... you will make the decision that is best for you. Just try to recall scriptures and pray for direction. I know you will decide what is best ... take care ... and I'm hoping for a strong, healthy baby for you.
afin ... if you would like to, I would be happy to converse with you via email.

Why do active witnesses frequent the site?
by jimakazi ini'm somewhat currious why active witnesses appear to frequent the site, and if the information on this site causes any to "fade away" or "dis-associate"?.
personally if i have known 18 years ago what i know now i would have been a lot more active in trying to convince all i cared about to leave, instead of fading away [gone with a bang so to speak].
it's funny how when you are in it you can't see it for what it is.

meagan ... thanks for the acknowledgement.
sKally ... you asked about my situation in the organization. Just a regular member and publisher.
Every once in a while I get 'the blues' and come on here to rant. Maybe I will invest in a membership at the local gym and 'get outta dodge'.

I frequent this site every once in a while when things aren't going too well in my life. It's familliar now (racoon ?) and the only place I can go where no one knows who I am and to a certain extent I can let off some steam.
That is wrong of me and I do apologize for ruffling feathers here. The other day I told Joyzabel she did me a favour by expelling me. It was the push I needed to get out of here, but guess what ... I find my posting privileges are restored. Guess she figures I'm more harm to myself here than not :)
Anyway ... that's how it is from my side.

Attention! A friend in need has evolved!
by gringojj ini dont know if anyone else noticed this but on june 14th a friend in need was silenced from kwins post "it took only 13 hrs...." for being a pain.
i just noticed a new member that goes by the name of dennis joined on june 15th and is spitting the same pro-jw stuff that afin was.
so it appears our friend has evolved.

Kwin ... for a man to work those long hours away from a pc, you seem to be here a lot.
Why would it matter where I work ... I'm not the one planning to sue the WTS 'solely to compensate my poor little feelings'. It wasn't the WTS who bothered you as a child ... it was (supposedly) one person ... but I get it. He doesn't have deep enough pockets to suit you .. wink .. wink ..

Kwin ... you never did answer ... do you work for a living ... or just live on hand outs from the government (your hard working neighbours) ... with dollar signs floating before your litigious eyes.
